Award Dinners & Society Events

The evening ran very smoothly and a good time was had by all. Special mention must go to Charlie (Thompson) who was amazing so please convey my thanks. He was fully prepped for our afternoon meeting having read the event sheet thoroughly. We worked out the order of priority for the set up so the committee could work in the most efficient manner on our side of things. It was all hands on deck but we were ready in time. During the evening, the service was excellent under Charlie's watchful eye and the food was served hot and was delicious so please thank chef, especially as there were quite a few dietary requirements this year. Another thing that worked really well was pre-ordering the wine upon arrival when those staying checked in. The selection was great and Charlie mentioned he'd worked with your team on Reception to pre populate the form with guest names and tables for pre-orders. It was an excellent touch. I certainly wasn't aware of any queues at the bar before dinner so that was great. The team on reception are also exceptionally helpful as usual. Thank you for reserving an area for an afternoon cuppa before the event as well.

From the moment we chose Hogarths Stone Manor as our wedding venue we were put at ease and felt comfortable in the safe hands of the experienced team. Abbie was exactly in tune with our ideas and how we wanted our special day to be. It was lovely to build up a relationship with Abbie who was instrumental in making our wedding day run smoothly.

Stone manor were fantastic! We could not fault them, it was good for money & they helped the day run so smoothly. The meetings before were also super helpful. I felt at ease knowing they were helping. I’ve recommended them to anyone I know who is engaged!!!

We cannot recommend Hogarths enough. We have always had a perfect stay. The food is amazing, the rooms are spacious, clean, comfy and depending on which room you book the bath is just the icing on the cake 😍 the staff are always so friendly, attentive and make the stay even better. We stopped in May after getting married and I had a cocktail, it was that good I couldn't wait to have it again but unfortunately it wasn't in the menu. I managed to find a picture of the ingredients as I'd taken a pic of the menu to attempt to make it at home the bar staff went out their way to make this for me. Honestly I love this place and we cannot wait to return already. Its the perfect getaway for a romantic night.

They were amazing from start to finish, we had Emily as our wedding co ordinator and she was excellent! All the little bits and pieces and changes she did promptly and was always really responsive and on hand with advice etc All our guests agreed what a beautiful place it was and how amazing the food and service was and we had the best wedding day.

We had the most wonderful wedding day, and it was all thanks to Stone Manor! Me and my now-husband, were getting married at short notice, due to the nature of his job. By mid November of 2022, we decided to tie the knot and look for some venues. We had heard about Stone Manor through friends and decided to look at the place. It was perfect, we knew straight away that we wanted to get married there! And sure enough, we were booking ourselves in for a February wedding! Emily helped us from start to finish, answering all our questions, and in her absence, Abbie and Sam were brilliant also. Planning with Stone Manor went very smoothly, we had appointments with them frequently to make sure everything was in place for the big day. We thoroughly enjoyed our Menu Tasting for the wedding, the gentleman - whose name escapes me, I am so sorry! - who looked after us and served our taster menu, was delightful. When the big day did come along, Chloe looked after us and kept the day running smoothly. Everything went perfectly, and we were so impressed with all the staffs' customer service and kindness throughout the day. It was such a lovely day that me and my husband now joke about getting divorced so we can do it all again! Can't recommend Stone Manor enough, and we will definitely be coming back to celebrate our anniversaries.
