October Half Term

Have a fancy afternoon tea

When you were a child, few things were as cool as pretending to be a grown up. And what could be more grown up than getting dressed up and having a fancy afternoon tea? The only problem: grown up foods are a bit boring.

That’s why we’ve created a kid-friendly afternoon tea menu where we’ve replaced tea with hot chocolate, and cucumber finger sandwiches with fun rainbow marshmallows. But don’t worry, you can still have our usual afternoon tea and treats for yourself.

If you don’t want to join in on the fun, this could also be a great day out with the grandparents, or maybe your child’s godparent wants to take them out for a fancy afternoon tea?

Enjoy 20% kids’ afternoon tea from 24th -31st October.

Let’s go on a staycation

Big holidays abroad aren’t always an option, so how about a little staycation in the Midlands? There are plenty of child friendly things to do near both Hogarths Hotels locations. Stone Manor is only a stone’s throw from West Midlands Safari Park, and Solihull is ideally located between Drayton Manor Theme Park and Warwick Castle. Did we mention, all three attractions are decked out with pumpkins and spooky Halloween surprises during half-term?

If you want to read a first-hand account of what a family staycation at Hogarths could look like, head on over to Emma Plus Three. Emma and her family recently stayed at our Solihull hotel and by the sounds of it they had a great time there.

How about some you time away from the kids? The Hogarths retreat package at Hogarths Stone Manor offer just the ticket to relax and indulge, just the two of you. Check availability here.

Our retreat package includes:
  • One 50 minute spa treatment, per person (supplement for Hot Stone Massage)
  • Dinner with a £35.00 allowance, per person
  • Overnight bed and breakfast stay £350.00.
*prices based on two adults sharing, standard double bedroom, upgrades available

Hogarths says “Relax!”

As much as you love spending time with the kids, sometimes you just need a break. And they do, too!

Our solution to this: Kids’ Pamper Parties at Hogarths Stone Manor. Your children and their friends get treated with face masks and mani-pedis while sipping on mocktails. You get to have an afternoon to yourself. It’s a win-win!

For budding beauticians, we also have a Tutorial package where they can learn from our skilled staff. Kids can try their hand at a DIY mini mani-pedi, a DYI mini facial and many more.

Treat your family to dinner

When’s the last time you treated your family to a nice dinner? Now, we’re not judging if it’s been too long. It can be stressful getting everyone ready and out the door, and then there’s usually at least one kid who would have rather had a happy meal.

We can’t help with the hassle of getting your family ready, but we have created a separate kid-friendly dinner menu. This way you can have an elevated dinner experience with local dishes from our three counties menu, and your children get a nice meal that they enjoy, and that isn’t fast food.

A walk in the woodlands

It’s not always about spending money. In fact, sometimes it’s as simple as taking a walk. Both our Stone Manor and Solihull locations are surrounded by almost 30 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands, and we invite you and your family to take a stroll.

From various birds and animals to scenic views, there are many interesting things to be discovered, so make sure to pop into reception and pick up an illustrated woodland map before you head out.
